Sarah + Kevin | Albany Painting Engagement Session
I met Sarah & Kevin when he was a groomsman in Corinne & Bryan’s wedding and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding. I always recommend that my couples have an engagement session because it gives them an opportunity to get used to posing in front of the camera and it gives me a chance to get to know them better and figure out what types of poses they are most comfortable with.
Since Sarah & Kevin live near Albany and I’m near Binghamton, I wasn’t sure if we would be able to do an Engagement Session but I was thrilled when Sarah asked what I thought about doing their pictures at their house which they are fixing up together. So we did pictures of them painting their house together and then went out to the park for a few minutes. I just love how their pictures turned out. 🙂
Ashley + Matt | Binghamton Club Wedding
Ashley & Matt’s Wedding at the Binghamton Club was perfect! They had been planning the big day for so long and all of their hard work definitely paid off. Everyone had a blast and we are so honored to have shared in their big day.

Natalie + Aaron | Apple Hills Farm Engagement
Our first wedding of the year is this weekend and we are so excited! These are pictures of Natalie & Aaron at their Engagement Session this fall. We had the best time at Apple Hills with them and what’s not to love about a couple that can do the Dirty Dancing Lift! Can’t wait for their wedding day!!!
Laura + Dave | Vestal Engagement Session
I LOVE getting to photograph Engagement Sessions. It makes your wedding day go so much more smoothly when I have a chance to see how couples interact together and learn what poses they are most comfortable with. I had a great time with Laura & Dave at their Engagement Session and can’t wait for their wedding day! Enjoy a few of my favorites!!!
Deanna + Patrick | Ithaca Wedding Photographer
It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year already since Deanna & Patrick’s Wedding. March is always a tricky time of year in the Binghamton area to have a wedding. You don’t know if it’s going to be snowy and cold or springtime. But Deanna & Patrick lucked out and the snow had already melted. It was a little bit chilly, but an otherwise beautiful day! They had a beautiful ceremony at the Church of the Nazarene in Owego and their reception at Celebrations in Ithaca.
Happy 1st Anniversary Deanna & Patrick Hope you all enjoy a couple of our favorite pictures from their big day!
Gina + Miguel | Winter Engagement Session
As all of my couples know, I LOVE snowy winter Engagement Sessions. The sunlight reflects off of the snow and creates the most beautiful light. When Gina & Miguel said they wanted to have their Engagement Session in the winter time, I was thrilled! Of course, who knew what a crazy, freezing cold winter we would have in Binghamton this year? But Gina & Miguel were such good sports and were willing to hike through 1-2 feet of snow to get some of these pictures!
What’s even better than fun, snowy Engagement Pictures? Fun, snowy engagement pictures with your dog too! 🙂
Happy St. Patrick’s Day | Irish Themed Wedding
I love going to weddings where the bride & groom have really embraced a theme for their wedding day. Kira & David’s Owego wedding did just that. They had an Irish Themed Wedding that truly embraced all things Irish & Green. While their wedding was actually a few years ago, every St. Patrick’s Day, I am always reminds me of their wedding day.
There was even a surprise Bagpiper who came into the Owego Treadway Reception. It truly was a Magical Day!
Eileen + Steve | Traditions at the Glen Wedding
After a crazy wedding season and the holidays, I am finally getting caught up on blogging some of our 2014 weddings. I first met Eileen when she was a bridesmaid in her cousin’s wedding. It is always an honor when families ask us to come back and photograph their next weddings. 🙂 Eileen & Steve’s wedding was especially fun because they had a live band who kept the dance floor packed all night. We had the best time with Eileen, Steve and their families!
Brittany + Jim | Six Mile Creek Vineyard Wedding
Brittany & Jim’s Wedding Day was the first time we had ever been to Six Mile Creek Vineyard in Ithaca, NY. It is absolutely gorgeous there! Of course it was one of the hottest days this summer, but the entire bridal party was such troopers about dealing with the heat. We went to the Plantations at Cornell University for their First Look and some formal pictures, and then headed over to the Vineyard for the ceremony.
Brittany had planned out every detail of the wedding day and there were so many personal touches throughout the day, but especially at the reception….and who doesn’t love some sparkler pictures?

Alexandra + Andrew | Johnson City Wedding Photographer
We have been the strangest weather here this time of year. Sometimes it’s beautiful, sometimes it’s cold. Earlier in the week before Alexandra & Andrew’s wedding, the forecast was saying 60% chance of rain and we had planned a LOT of outdoor picture time. So we couldn’t have been happier when it turned out that it barely sprinkled when we needed to be outside and did the heavy raining during the ceremony when we were indoors anyway! By the time we were at the reception at the Chenango Valley State Park, the rain was pretty much done for the day which everyone was thrilled about. Enjoy a few of our favorite pictures from their big day. (If you want to see all the pictures head over here.)
