Valentine’s Engagement – Binghamton, NY
I just spoke with someone who is planning a very special, very public, proposal in the next few days, and I thought about the many couples who have just gotten engaged in this valentines season. So if that is you, congratulations!
This time of year is a great time to be in love, especially this year when the weather is so unpredictable and you just want to cuddle by a fire to keep warm (or occasionally go on a long walk in the warm sunshine because it is unseasonably hot).
This groom-to-be wants to make sure his proposal is fantastic. He decided to wait until after valentine’s day to pop the question, and it looks like this is the week. Of course, I can’t give away all of his ideas just yet, on the off-chance his bride-to-be finds this on the internet, but I do want to point out that one way you can make your engagement special is to bring us along. Most engagements do not happen in front of all your family and friends, but when I was proposed to many years ago, I was lucky in that someone thought to invite a photographer to the event. It was my future father-in-law to be exact, who knew he couldn’t be with us and wanted to be able to share in the moment. I would like to add there was so little news going on in town that we made the front page.
So if you are planning a proposal, think about bringing us along – we have all kinds of ideas we would be happy to talk over with you, but more than that, we are all about captured emotions, and there are few moments more emotional than your proposal.
And if you already got engaged don’t worry! Engagement portraits come free with our wedding packages, so we are happy to re-create it for you too. Happy proposals everyone!
